BOOKENDS

Directed by Mike Doyle
Written by Noam Ash

When Nate moves in with his grandparents after a bad breakup, two generations collide in funny, exasperating, and heartbreaking ways.

When Nate is forced to leave his city life behind and move in with his grandparents after a breakup, he tries to escape retirement-community life and their relentless attempts to “improve” him. But as his Holocaust-surviving grandfather shows signs of cognitive decline and his grandmother refuses to acknowledge it, Nate is pulled between escape, family responsibility, and an unexpected romance with their doctor.
